American School of Bilbao - Mid 1970's Alumni and Reunion Site
Do you have fond memories of your days at the American School of Bilbao back in the mid 1970's? Did you attend school at the original Las Arenas location, at the "new" Berango location, or both? Have you ever thought it would be fun to reconnect with some of your fellow classmates from those bygone years?
If you answer yes to any of these questions, then this website is for you and provides a chance to reminisce and reconnect with fellow classmates. And, flip through that old yearbook, which will instantly bring back memories of the people, school, community, and the rich experiences we all shared.
Website History
This site was created in early 2010 when a search began for 9th grade classmates from the 1975-1976 yearbook, with the intent of arranging a reunion if enough alumni could be located (hence the site name). As that search gained momentum, it was expanded to include 7th grade and up and, with great enthusiasm, a first-ever reunion for this group of alumni was held in Oct 2010.
And the Story Continues........
While the first reunion is now history, other ASB alumni from the mid 1970's continue to surface, having discovered this site. If you'd like to join the growing list of alumni, which now spans virtually all grades, please drop us a note via the Contact Info tab. You'll be amazed how quickly the 30-40 years that have transpired since will melt away. Based on the success of the Oct 2010 reunion, there will likely be another, and we'd like to keep you informed about any future gatherings or other significant news.
